What is true and what is not – in times of “fake news”, disinformation and artificial intelligence (AI), it is becoming increasingly difficult to identify. Content is easily shared with the world – whether it is true or not. The European Commission has also recognized the problem and is fighting the spread of disinformation on the Internet in order to ensure the protection of European values and democratic systems. Together with the workshop participants, we will take a European look at the issues: How dangerous is false information? How do we recognize it, why are we sometimes so susceptible to targeted disinformation – and above all: what can we do about it?
