Do you know the “land under white wings”? From Stalinism to the present day: lyrical reflections on oppression and hope in Belarus.

Experience a scenic-musical reading of “Belarus: LiTERatuRA ingonita”, which presents Belarusian poetry from different eras. Yauheniya Hukava provides a historical context, while artists provide sensitive musical accompaniment. The performance reveals life under Stalinism, the search for freedom and the current oppression in Belarus. Touching personal experiences and the question of responsibility for the future are addressed in the texts; a lecture full of emotion and a musical homage to Belarusian heroes and heroines. Followed by questions and discussion on the texts of the reading.
