First, some definitions are clarified: What is a war crime? Which acts are to be described as such? How are they defined in international law? What options are there for restoring the rights of those affected? We talk about the challenges Ukraine is facing in this context.
We also look at ecocide, some of the characteristics of genocide and sexual violence committed by Russian troops in Ukraine.
