we are all in this together…
A Workshop on Creativity & Transcultural Explorations
The cultures in which we grow up shape our inner compass. They influence how we think, feel, and act, and also affect which culture or subculture we feel we belong to. We are all a constantly evolving mix of identities—one that is actually perfectly equipped for a life of diversity.
At the do-it-TOGETHER-lab, we embark on playful, experimental explorations to investigate how our own creative interests relate to the broad, universal concept of culture and, last but not least, to the formation of identity. After all, creativity, a sense of direction, and “cultural awareness” are resources that have always been anchored within us as part of our human background knowledge and lived experience. We’ll explore this, find individual starting points, and share exciting, shared spatial experiences.
You can look forward to an engaging workshop at the raumlabor in UK14, where—through constructive uncertainty and collective “aha” moments—we’ll combine these resources with wit and intellect to strengthen them into intercultural competencies.
The workshop is a safe space, designed to be as diversity-sensitive as possible, and anyone interested is warmly welcome. No prior creative experience is necessary—all you need is curiosity about insightful “aha” moments.
We look forward to welcoming 12–14 participants. The rooms are accessible; please send any inquiries or requests regarding special needs in advance via email to:
