Multiple Cultural Identities as a Resource

An increasing number of people are becoming aware of their belonging to multiple cultures at the same time and integrate these into their daily lives.
This diversity is transforming our society. What does this change mean for all of us? Which concerns and hopes are associated with it? How does this affect our ability to live together and our understanding of integration?
This workshop invites participants to look at multiple cultural identities from a resource-oriented perspective. Through interactive exercises, group reflections, and practical examples, we will explore hybrid identities as an opportunity for societies.
The workshop includes a visit of the NGO BiSI – Bildung und Soziale Innovation gGmbH (engl. Education and Social Innovation) and gain insights into their practical work. This practical example demonstrates how cultural diversity can be addressed
and strengthened in educational and integration programs.
